ABOUT US
The Lexington Council Garden Clubs (LCGC) is an umbrella organization founded in 1956 and is currently comprised of six garden clubs in Lexington, Kentucky.
The Council is made up of elected officers, the president or a representative of each club, and garden club members representing these Boards: Corridors Commission, Tree Board, Celebrate Lexington!, and Raven Run Nature Sanctuary.
Major projects include sponsorship of the Tour of Gardens, Lexington in Bloom Contest, and an annual Standard Flower Show held in partnership with Fayette County Master Gardeners at the Lions’ Club Bluegrass Fair.
LCGC is a member of the Bluegrass District affiliated with the Garden Club of Kentucky and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
